Classic Family Photo of Steve

I don't think that is Mike with him. Could it be Rusty Griswold from European Vacation?

I am pretty sure that this pic made the newspaper - someone will have to post the details.

Those three-quarter length heavy metal baseball shirts are yet to make a comeback and remain a hallmark of the early to mid-eighties.

Thanks for the pic, Anne.

(How truly nuts do you have to be to pick up a snapping turtle that big?)

The picture was in the newspaper, The Nashua Telegragh. That was one big turtle. For those of you not closely associated with the day to day goings on at that time ask me about the Black Widow spider the boys had who did lay eggs, or the baby snapping turtles that hatched one January from eggs left in a Crisco can on the windowsill. Then there were the two rattlers the two in the picture brought home from a trip out West. Then the two scorpions who were mailed to us from Saudi Arabia. etc. The snake in Joe's slipper (he's terrified of them)
The other kid is Steve Larson and he ate PB & J's at our house for decades.
These two also did shows at the Audubon Soc. and schools to teach others about our native frogs, turtles, snakes etc.

Yeah, many of us knew that turtle was one of Steve's more innocuous trophies.

Anne, why did you abbreviate your rant? You left out the beer, fireworks, etc.

Anne's therapy will be watching Steve raise three teenagers of his own.

I am already scared to death of what little john may do to his parents, given the paternal side of his gene pool.

Grandparenting is all about getting even! May God bless all you guys that used to chase girls with beautiful daughters and excellent memories. Those of you with sons just need the memory.
