Boy, Are There A Lot Of Girls!

Macie is a joy. She lets us sleep 5 to 7 hours at a time at night and smiles and coos a lot. It is amazing how fast she grows, she is almost 3 months already and has been in her 3-6 month old clothes for a couple of weeks now. Here a couple of recent pictures.

I took my brood, along with NanaL, down to the Cape as well. The kids had a jolly time, despite LittleJohn's crankiness (Who the heck did he inherit that from?)

DrMark was supposed to be there "early in the morning" but as of 2:47pm he had yet to arrive - so we missed him. (Who the heck did he inherit his punctuality gene from?)

What we learned in Cape Cod

How not to open a beach umbrella....(what a dumb ass)

That people actually wear surfing boats to walk around on the beach (again, what a dumb ass)....

That there are big ass seals hanging out in the Cape Cod harbor...

That fish can actually be caught...

That people still wear mullets in Massachussetts (no pic of that, but multiple eye witnesses)

Last comment...any guesses of whose belly this is????

Stiff

I was just cleaning out my PC desktop and I came upon a folder titled "stiff".

I wonder exactly what I was thinking when I was collecting these pics....

Oh yeah, here's one more from that folder. Note the abominable tie UJ donned at the K-J wedding.

Baby Pics - Sienna Jade

Hi All-

Well, after her much anticipated birth (and 30+ hours of labor!!) our little one finally made her debut into this world.

She was born on Friday August 3, 2007 @ 9:11pm. She weighed in at 7 lbs and 7 oz. and measured 21 inches (same wt and length as her pappa actually so we've been told!)

Currently Sienna is doing well, she is in the NICU being treated for pneumonia (something she developed due to a complication from her delivery) and unfortunately will be here for at-least 5-7 days on antibiotics. She is a trooper and the nurses cannot believe that she is so strong (she needs 3 arm bands to hold her IV in place), alert (she was born with her eyes wide open), happy (she wakes up smiling), and hungry (eating very well every 2-3 hours)...considering how sick that she really is. Fortunately, Maggie is able to stay with her in a "Nesting Room" at the hospital in order to continue her feedings and visit her all the time!

The Phoenix Flower Child Has Arrived!

Sienna Jade was born at 9:11pm on August 3rd.

She weighed in at 7 lbs and 7 ounces and measured 21 inches long.

Muchos congratulations to the proud parents. (In fact, they might have been a little too proud, calling certain people at 1am to herald the birth of SJ.)

It's hard to believe the baby was that big based on the size of Maggie's belly last week...
